Wow! Wow! and another WOW! 2022-01-29T18:16:33Z Comment by Benjamin_D Ok, after this much it's all started to blur together; I don't mind long tracks but it's harder to judge a long jam without much structure/sections to it. In other contexts, I wouldn't really mind the length, and I'll probably come back to this track a few more times across the year since it really is a nice jam. 2022-01-16T01:35:16Z Comment by Benjamin_D This is very fun to listen to; there are so many little things going on that really fill out the space nicely. There's a steady groove but also lots of sound on top to keep it interesting 2022-01-16T01:28:56Z Comment by emikaela it's a beautiful soundscape. you're probably right that it's a bit longer than it really needs to be, i feel like it gets the point across after the first couple of minutes or so... some dynamic variation would help, especially with the drums 2022-01-15T14:15:48Z Comment by The Exponent The sound design bits are very nice 2022-01-15T11:34:02Z Comment by berniep sounds like I'm listening to three different tracks at the same time - bit it still fits together 2022-01-14T12:21:55Z Comment by The Ted Mountainé Orchestra Your music creates some very vivid images in my mind - the intro feels like flying, somehow. I like how you have weaved so many sounds together, and the interplay between them. It creates a unique atmosphere - you're not one for block chords and one-finger-melodies! It would have been nice with a bit more dynamic movement for such a large piece - some breaks without the bass and drums, perhaps? And if you removed them completely, I'm sure it would still be a perfectly acceptable and constantly moving ambient track! 2022-01-13T18:20:02Z Comment by SilverPants I like Surge because it's does most of what I need. I like to get to know one synth well. Although with this OSC competition I will need to learn a new synth every month! Good for the old brain though. 2022-01-13T13:30:34Z Comment by Yadrichik Chaya @eauson: Thank you! Might just pull that section out and make some frenetic D'n'B out of it ;) 2022-01-12T18:28:36Z Comment by SilverPants This is one of the most unique synth songs I've ever heard! Very inspiring. 2022-01-12T15:58:08Z Comment by Robert Chavez Quite a fun track! 2022-01-09T16:12:33Z Comment by Milkster Great sound stage with lots of movement. A little cluttered with too many layers at the start though - your arrangement starts to simplify towards the end and instruments are given more space compared to the beginning and the rhythm is easier to follow, Great stuff. 2022-01-06T11:11:28Z Comment by Sequential-X Getting a lot of neosoul vibes out of this. This is another solid effort from a musician with a very unique and enjoyable style. 2022-01-05T08:28:37Z Comment by TapTapDoubleTap It's got that great chaotic feel that I always loved about The Orb. 2022-01-03T12:25:03Z Comment by TapTapDoubleTap Feels quite Orb-like to me - great start. 2022-01-03T12:22:27Z Comment by nyx eles i really like how trippy and confusing this track sounds! nice soundscape 2022-01-03T02:16:13Z Comment by jemAudio Nice track! Very hypnotic. Really like the combinations of sounds used and the way the loops are merging and drifting. Nice work. I would make it a little louder sounding in the mastering. 2022-01-03T00:34:27Z Comment by NeverBeenInARiot well that was an uber-jam-packed tune! (130 instances, w.t.a.fork?!) - some lovely washes of sound and textures though, and sweet chord changes, but if feels like parts are going missing in the many, many, many layers of this dense mix. It could have been a little shorter too by about 3 mins :-) but nitpicks aside, it sounds great overall, and is in a very unique style :) 2022-01-02T15:05:53Z Comment by gorgorgathgorgorgor There's a lot going on, and it feels a bit disorganized at times, but it is infectious. I'm growing to appreciate your style. 2021-12-28T02:29:25Z Comment by Davi-DJ I was working with this in the background and it leaved me a good feeling, i think i will press play again and leave it meanwhile 2021-12-27T10:59:26Z Comment by IV And yes, I'm very interested in how you used these 130 instances here, it's just a cosmic amount!) 2021-12-25T20:23:35Z Comment by IV I know, I know! When I came to music school as a child, I could hear in the foyer that they were playing in different rooms, it was like a long tuning of the orchestra, their cerimonial cacophony) Your piece sounds as if everyone at school was playing different parts of the same piece, constantly coinciding and diverging from each other! Like in that scene from the movie where August Rush begins to hear music in the sounds of the street. I would describe it as a (good) attempt to harmonize chaos! 2021-12-25T20:21:40Z Comment by IV I agree with that. The space is always filled here and something is always happening! As a simile is like a big house with a lot of people, where everyone is on their own, but they are all united by what they do. But what they do remains a mystery, as if you are looking at the rituals of a completely different people, or even creatures from another planet, realizing only that these actions make sense and are part of the movement towards a single goal! 2021-12-25T20:14:33Z Comment by Robert Chavez I like how the musical space is always full. You've got a unique style that is very fun to listen to. 2021-12-25T06:35:00Z
