Steven (S) Whiteley is a San Diego-based composer, experimental media artist, multi-instrumentalist, & sound artist, working primarily with electronics and in transdisciplinary idioms. He is interested in post-humanism, queerness, the mutability of the real, and the liminal space existing between the cyberbody and biobody when human beings engage with the virtual. He is currently a PhD student in Composition at the University of California – San Diego, where he studies with Marcos Balter. Adrienne Herr is an artist working primarily with text, sound, and site-specific installation. Recent exhibitions include The flight of the clay pigeon thrown into the air where we shoot (2020) at EXILE, Vienna, and MUSEUM ISLAND (2019) at Shore Gallery, Vienna. Her cross-genre writing has been published in German translation by Edit Literaturzeitschrift (2021), and a sound album is forthcoming from Primordial Void based in Athens, Georgia. Alongside Sanna Helena Berger, Adrienne Herr is co-creator of amatter — an experimental text & sound journal based in Berlin, Germany.
