Weirich/Rivas/Rand: TAKE A -NIGHT TRAIN by Aleck Rand published on 2017-05-27T06:49:44Z Lawrence Welk and a friend on the ride of their lives, featuring the brilliant muliti-horn playing of Chuck Weirich and the slick percussion of Jimmy Rivas. Aleck Rand devised the concept and arrangement, borrowing, appropriately on the occasion of Miles Davis's 91st birthday, from Clifford Brown (Chuck recalls one of Clifford's most famous compositions) and no less than Duke Ellington (ditto). If you recognize either or both of their classics, don't fail to mention it in a comment. I think Miles would smile when he got to your solo and appreciate your dedication to keeping the music alive and still have fun! 2017-06-06T13:45:49Z Comment by Luca Grim Caddeo i like this Dean.... 2017-06-03T16:51:22Z Comment by Delusion Yeeaahhh:D Here give this a little listen ;) https://soundcloud.com/doc-lucid/doc-lucid-reminiscing-instrumental 2017-06-02T14:05:28Z Comment by oddrun eikli some Ride, beautiful! 2017-05-30T06:33:18Z Comment by Aleck Rand Lawrence, poor devil, I don't think he made it ... 2017-05-29T20:33:30Z Comment by Aleck Rand Far Rockaway??
