alextizon Alex Tizon Alex Tizon is the author of Big Little Man: In Search Of My Asian Self, a sociological memoir that the New York Times called “searingly honest” and the Seattle Times described as “a devastating critique of contemporary American culture.” The book won a Lukas Book Prize, an Oregon Book Award and an APALA Award for Literature. He contributes to The Atlantic, and teaches at the University of Oregon.
