Andrew In Vienna The Canton-based band, Andrew in Vienna, seeks to integrate faith with passion for music. Being heavily influenced by Christian artist Switchfoot, traditional church music, and secular blues/rock groups Kings of Leon and the Black Keys, Andrew in Vienna is an Indie/Blues/Rock band. In the summer of 2012, Ben Beadle (vocals, synth) deeply desired to put together a band to bring glory to God by pursuing his passion for music. He enlisted friends Charles Stead (vocals, rhythm guitar); Jacob Hazlett (vocals, lead guitar); Amy Miller (vocals, keys); Brandon Parsons (bass); and Luc Bohler (drums) to participate in his hopes for putting together a band. While Beadle and Hazlett were high school friends, the connecting factor between the other band members was Malone University, where they all attend school. During the 2011-2012 school year, all band members were united by Celebration, a student-run worship service at Malone University on Thursday nights. Bohler, Parsons, and Miller were a part of the Celebration worship band led by Bohler. The band members strengthened their friendship through these Thursday night worship services. The name “Andrew in Vienna” was inspired by a mutual friend, Andrew, who was asked to be a part of the band. However, Andrew had other plans to travel to Vienna. While Andrew couldn’t be a part of the band, the name “Andrew in Vienna” continued to come back to the rest of the band members in hopes of keeping their friend involved in the band. In October 2012, Andrew in Vienna recorded at the Ranch in Mogadore, Ohio where Andrew in Vienna worked on the beginning of the band’s first EP. Andrew in Vienna is preparing to release their first single “When You Call.” Andrew In Vienna’s tracks When You Call (Demo) by Andrew In Vienna published on 2012-12-12T03:11:45Z
