Anne Lam Anne Cheuk-bun Lam Rochester, NY Anne Lam is candidate of the Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance & Literature and the Sacred Music Diploma at the Eastman School of Music, NY, where she studies with Prof. David Higgs. Anne Lam began her organ studies with Dr. Siu-Ling Chiu & Ms. Kin-Yu Wong at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and was the Organist of Chung Chi Chapel, CUHK. She is a recipient of numerous scholarships, including the Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship, which is one of the most prestigious full scholarships for overseas study. Recently, her live improvisation has been published in the Eastman Organ Book and her performance has been broadcasted on the classical music channel of RTHK. Anne won second prize in the 2012 Miami International Organ Competition and was one of the seven semi-finalist for the 2012 AGO National Young Artists Competition in Organ Playing . Anne teaches secondary organ lessons at Eastman and is Director of Music & Organist at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Fairport, NY. Her other interests include liturgical music before the tenth century, harpsichord, continuo playing, baking and Mediterranean food.
