Arode Arode von Pinderschlass Geneva goodevening@arodemusicstudio.com "Independent, underground based, I'm a free artist. I Create and I Transform." Arode is an artist who mainly works with musical improvised performance. By examining the dubstep and techno landmark via retakes and variations, Arode seduces the listener into a world of ongoing equilibrium and the interval that articulates the stream of emotional events. Moments are composed that only exist to punctuate the human drama in order to clarify our emotions and to find poetic meaning in strong sonic environment. Her performances never shows the complete structure. This results in the fact that the artist can easily imagine an own interpretation without being hindered by the historical reality of deejaying. In a search for new methods to ‘read and mix the wave's sound’, she tries to increase the dynamic between audience and author by modulating grooves and investigating the duality that develops through different rhythms in the same set. Her works sometimes radiate a cold and latent violence where disconcerting sonic beauty emerges. The inherent auditive seductiveness, along with the conciseness of the sounds, further complicates the reception of their manifold layers of meaning. By applying a dark and often granular language, she wants to amplify the astonishment of the dancer by creating compositions or settings that generate intense emotional connections that leave traces and balances on the edge of exaltation and alienation. Her sets are often about contact with darkness and sharp electronic elements. Energy and timbre are examined in equal obvious ways and sometimes developed in very melodic phases. By emphasizing sounds aesthetics and purity, she focuses on the idea of ‘expanding tones’ and more specifically on a hypnotic love where anyone can dance or just sway at any given moment: the sound sculpture, the techno owned space, an immersive environment that is physically and mentally liberating. Her sets appear as lifting soundscape in which acoustics and design meet, well-known drums merge, BPMs shift, past and present beats fuse. Disappearance of time and memory always play a key role.
