Kumo) Unmovable Mover My other body is a metaphor my other body is a blade my other body is a baby born talking, describes heaven and the heat in your hair my other body is the song Solomon forgot of scorched earth & the taste of sweetness my other body closes its eyes & traces the print my other body has a flashlight heart on tiptoes in the deep end of the house where you were always young my other body carries its chalice to the altar my other body always knows what to steal & when to stop my other body doesn’t burn all the way to the filter my other body is where other bodies go to die my other body is smoke on your tongue, stars getting soft my other body is the breaker. May-Lan Tan is the author of the story collection Things to Make and Break (shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award) and the chapbook Girly. Her fiction has appeared in Zoetrope: All-Story, The Atlas Review, Areté, and The Reader. Kumo is Francesco Azzone, was born in Pisa in 1993. In 2014 he started Kaleidowave, with Giorgio Tropiano a.k.a. Hedra, a collective of Italian artists seeking out innovative sounds across different music genres, with a loose focus on ambient music, which de facto constitutes the original background of both young producers. Boards of Canada, Brian Eno and Aphex Twin have all been hugely instrumental to the creative growth of these young artists, inspiring them to push the envelope while creating their stylish, experimental productions. Include a sample of Hedra.
