BHA Podcast #045 - MODERN DEEP LEFT QUARTET by Bhavishyavani published on 2020-11-30T12:53:55Z Trust the Bha crew to bring you some holiday cheer. Back in 2011, the Bha crew hosted The Modern Deep Left Quartet, an offset the acclaimed Cobblestone Jazz, led by the singular Mathew Jonson alongside Tyger Dhula, Danuel Tate and The Mole at Aurus, Bombay, one of our (and the city’s) most unforgettable sun-kissed terrace parties, which spawned countless “Sundowner” imitations. The music shuttled between jazz improvisation, deep electronic music cuts and some of the irresistibly hypnotic Cobblestone Jazz & Mathew Jonson sound. It was tasty, it was groovy, it got downright rowdy (as most Bha gigs eventually are) as four men huddled behind a ton of analogue gear produced inspired moments of a spontaneous electronic music jam. Here’s the recording of that two-hour plus journey as proof. Genre Electronic Comment by Carito21akaAurora 🌈💎♾️💜🌠 2023-02-09T13:09:23Z Comment by J.
