Something for my man Prez.
'I need this time to reflect,
Cuz the man in the mirror is not the guy
That I'm trying to be yet,
I reject
Thoughts of loss and pay dearly,
Become wrecked
When it takes loved ones who near me,
You don't know what you got really,
Describes it clearly best,
My man Prez you are dearly missed,
I write these words through a teary mist
I got a theory it's
If I scream into the Heavens
You'll be hearing this,
I been delirious,
God works mysterious ways
It's too serious,
I try to learn from your experience,
Free from the need to keep appearances
A King amongst men meant for the Pyramids,
Dedicated words to the best,
I hope you party while you rest
In the same peace
You left the world blessed with,
Got the Standing O' when you made your exit,
I must confess to nothing less
It's too abrupt
Still can't face that you're gone
Soul moving up,
To the skies, the clouds
You stay improving us,
Always on our minds
In our hearts,
Save room for us,
Cuz together we'll meet,
One day I seek,
The chance to repeat
The past,
Complete new memories,
I carry on your energy,
It's a deep mentality that I keep
Cuz I see what it meant to me
And everybody that you'd meet,
Prez you'd treat 'em like a centerpiece
You had a spirit meant to live for centuries
Love embodied
Bottled inside a physical entity,
We all grateful for the ways that you mentored
We deeply miss the love
And hugs that came plentily,
Losing you was such a shock to the sensory,
Even though we all go eventually
It happened unexpectedly
I rap out of necessity,
Knowing that by flowing
For a couple of seconds
That it will set me free'
