Good lord. 2019-01-21T19:18:59Z Comment by @cyclosophy I just watched Jason Bourne, and he goes to Berlin. So they write Berlin, Germany and then immediately show you Berlin Central Railway Station that says "Berlin Bahnhof" in huge letters across a huge wall of glass! 2018-05-25T14:28:36Z Comment by @cyclosophy And even when they were sad, the played a slow and sad version of America, Fuck Yeah. Hilarious! 2018-05-25T08:23:54Z Comment by @cyclosophy Ah, the old "Give me your badge and you gun... and the other one" for the ankle holster. I loved it when The Simpsons did it though when Apu lost his job for making Homer sick. 2018-05-25T08:18:31Z Comment by Mac Elmore You need Peggy's funeral to show that Cap is in mourning and not in his right mind. The last part of his pre-freeze life is gone, and now he really does have to find another reason to continue. Seriously, guys, have you become so jaded that you can't see these moments for their importance? 2018-03-06T03:42:11Z Comment by Mac Elmore No, not really. Didn't mind. 2018-03-06T03:26:16Z Comment by Erik Weiss "When was your last desk pop"? 2016-12-25T00:36:56Z Comment by Craig Kramer Please do a part 2 to this!! Still have more to talk about! 2016-06-21T04:54:42Z Comment by Doc Gamester I'm a different person now than I was in 1980. Now I think the best made film of that year is Hopscotch. Look it up. 2016-06-05T18:01:17Z Comment by Doc Gamester I can't believe Hawk The Slayer hasn't been mentioned. 2016-06-05T17:58:51Z Comment by Mats Volberg Oh, and Four Lions (2010). 2016-06-02T08:17:22Z Comment by Mats Volberg The correct answer is In the Loop (2009). 2016-06-02T08:11:39Z Comment by Alfie690 Also, Bad guys always driving black SUV's in a straight line 2016-05-24T12:35:00Z Comment by tjmedcalf Zoolander 2016-05-23T13:00:08Z Comment by tjmedcalf You might be surprised, the Russo bros have been on Screen Junkies admitting they tried to make Winter Soldier, Honest Trailer proof, so it's not so far fetched to think they watch you guys also. 2016-05-23T12:42:09Z Comment by Alfie690 this is the worst, i cant stand it either 2016-05-19T07:52:46Z Comment by CirrusMinor The Other Guys, with Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg made me laugh quite a lot actually 2016-05-18T10:44:50Z Comment by CirrusMinor The conversation break-up is such a pet peeve of mine. "There's something I need to tell you - phone rings or whatever - conversation resumes 7 years later" 2016-05-18T10:28:30Z Comment by CirrusMinor How could you forget I, Robot and the scene where Will Smith escapes a mansion while saving the unnecessary cat? 2016-05-18T10:24:50Z Comment by CirrusMinor You and I both 2016-05-18T10:07:53Z Comment by CirrusMinor Mine is Blues Brothers, which might be my favourite movie of all time. 2016-05-18T09:30:44Z Comment by Timmah200 Question: Do you guys every watch special features/featurettes? If so, after watching some, have they every changed your opinions and/or changed the way you thought about the movie? 2016-05-18T06:57:09Z Comment by Chris Clark One of my least favorite tropes/cliches is when one person is fighting off a horde of ninjas or something and they could easily overwhelm our protagonist if they would just attack him from multiple directions, but they attack in sequence so they can more easily be fought off. 2016-05-18T04:17:23Z Comment by PictoNoMii I don't think that elbow meant that Falcon found her hot as much as you just want it to be that it mean that. 2016-05-18T00:54:49Z Comment by PictoNoMii Seriously, you're even complaining about the font size in the movie? Save that for a sins video, where you're supposed to be nit-picky to a ridiculous degree. 2016-05-18T00:42:05Z Comment by PictoNoMii I'm in the middle of the podcast, so I don't know if they mention this, but the dead parent cliche is the biggest(and dumbest) cliche ever. 2016-05-18T00:35:54Z Comment by jwolfe The movie phrases "We've got company" and "That's what I'm talking about" need to be banned. 2016-05-17T21:55:18Z Comment by Nick Langdon Hey guys, love the podcast, really enjoyed your realistic take on the new Captain America movie, glad to see not everyone has been beaten into submission by the Marvel machine and are making a stand for original movies with well directed spectacle. My question for the SinCast would be what are you guys favourite director's cuts that radically changed a movie? To be clear this is not talking about James Cameron style extended edition which is just restoring deleted scenes, I refer to films that were radically altered. My two favourite examples are the assembly cut of Alien 3 that while not erasing that movie's flaws, does demonstrably improve it by restoring much of David Fincher's original vision, and the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven which turns a rushed and confusing action flick into the amazing epic Ridley Scott always intended it to be (and actually the 3 hour version feels shorter than the crappy 145 minute studio cut). 2016-05-17T16:49:08Z Comment by Vince Jason Rodriguez Indiana Jones survived the nuclear blast in the refrigerator so I think it's totally plausible! lol 2016-05-17T12:03:52Z
