Genre Entertainment Comment by rawrdinosaurkat I personally feel like Goblet of Fire is the best. Solely because instead of having little brats running around now we have teens and we actually get to experience how Hogwarts is without Voledmort hanging over their heads until the end. 2021-09-20T17:20:34Z Comment by PhilyG123 It's because they need to really want it and have the strength to do it. Moody explains it in the 4th books. Something along the lines of "You could throw these unforgivable spells at me and I wouldn't even get a bloody nose" 2021-08-09T20:41:12Z Comment by PhilyG123 That was Molly Weasley 2021-08-09T20:37:44Z Comment by PhilyG123 And season 7 and season 6 and season 5 too. I'm begging you to just think for a moment about Game of Thrones. It sucked for way longer that that. 2021-08-09T20:32:36Z Comment by PhilyG123 Slughorn is in the 6th 2021-08-09T20:31:00Z Comment by PhilyG123 I kind of like having more movies, you know? Covers more ground from the books. 2021-08-09T20:27:25Z Comment by PhilyG123 That's how they made it look in the movies. It's different in the books. Obviously both of those schools have male and female students. Check out the wiki page on the wizarding schools all over the HP world. 2021-08-09T19:08:10Z Comment by PhilyG123 Dumbledore knew Lockhart was full of shit. Lockhart found wizards who had an adventure, asked them questions about it and then erased their minds only to write books about his magical adventures that he didn't actually have. Dumbledore knew some of those wizards that got their mind erased and wanted to keep a close eye on Lockhart or something. How could he have known that the school would live through a Horxrux/Basilisk problem? 2021-08-09T19:00:45Z Comment by PhilyG123 Aunt Marge 2021-08-09T18:47:34Z Comment by PhilyG123 It's better explained in the books. Going back more than a few hours could result in a catastrophe. The Harry Potter wiki pages about the Time Turner and the "Un-born" explain it if you're interessted. 2021-08-09T18:44:22Z Comment by PhilyG123 It's the 3rd one. And in the books they use the map often. 2021-08-09T18:24:35Z Comment by PhilyG123 Because it takes ages to brew. They might not have the free time. 2021-08-09T18:23:04Z Comment by PhilyG123 It wasn't really the back of the shop. He just has a lot of wands. 2021-08-09T18:17:28Z Comment by PhilyG123 That's the Horcrux guys. I guess to prevent from ppl to destroy the diary. 2021-08-09T18:12:28Z Comment by PhilyG123 He had little power and no real body so he took over Quirells body 2021-08-09T18:11:18Z Comment by PhilyG123 Oliver Wood was his name 2021-08-09T18:05:17Z Comment by PhilyG123 You win if you get the most points. Catching the Snitch is the goal which gives you the most points which ends the game. Your team can catch the Snitch and still lose. 2021-08-09T18:03:36Z Comment by PhilyG123 Well there were more traps in the books. 7 traps from 7 teachers because 7 is a magical number. And they went through some of them together. 1) Fluffy 2) devils snare 3) winged keys 4) chessboard - this is were Ron falls away 5) troll - the same one released on Halloween and additionally he was already knocked out 6) a potion riddle - where Hermione leaves and 7) the mirror. Rowling wanted to have 7 books and Voldemort wanted to split his soul into 7 pieces. 2021-08-09T17:58:19Z Comment by CirrusMinor I think in Mississippi Burning, Defoe disappears into his role quite well. 2021-07-28T08:04:19Z Comment by CirrusMinor Well yeah, you did it and that's great, but why the hell does Crittendon remain exactly as smart inside the school as he is outside, huh. Jeremy, I need to know!!!! 2021-07-27T15:32:20Z Comment by CirrusMinor The two opposing streams was already done a long time ago in Dragon Ball (Gohan VS Cell), and I'm not sure at all it was the first time. 2021-07-27T15:24:46Z Comment by CirrusMinor I would have much prefered they found a way to strip Voldemort completely of all magical powers, à la Last Airbender. Which remains one of the best endings I've ever seen to any kind of "fighting with powers" story ever. 2021-07-27T15:15:18Z Comment by CirrusMinor The reason why some spells need the words and others do not is, indeed, in the books. It's taught to Harry that, in principle, all spells can be used without the formula, but, well, it's just hard. Avada Kedavra being extremely powerful, as well as not used very often, would make it one hard spell to practice enough to be able to use it unpronounced. 2021-07-27T14:51:48Z Comment by CirrusMinor Pierce Brosnan isn't in these either. 2021-07-27T12:18:23Z Comment by CirrusMinor For the French it's neither Philosopher nor Sorcerer's stone. in fact it's no stone at all. It's Harry Potter at the wizard school, which makes it sound like a kindergarten book. 2021-07-27T12:15:33Z Comment by Will R One very interesting theory is that the reason the Dursley's are so aweful, is actually Harry's fault, as he has been exposing them to the horcrux all this time 2021-07-20T19:52:40Z Comment by Ben Carlson Azkabhan is my pick for “best” in large part because it is the most technically proficient film by far, it is so visually rich that it might actually be my favorite Cuaron film as well. 2021-07-20T01:54:31Z Comment by Kevin Guimond absolutely agree with that lobster take. lazy man's lobster is the best. lobster is delicious, but it's still not that worth it. 2021-07-19T18:34:15Z Comment by Mark Ritz Chris is right, Mango Habanero is one of the best. 2021-07-19T16:05:44Z
