Evil, but not completely unsympathetic 2021-10-21T06:19:47Z Comment by @cyclosophy Love you too, Barrett. 🤣 2021-10-21T00:04:13Z Comment by CHOPFYT Toy Story has got to be up there 2021-10-20T15:13:11Z Comment by draco416 I actually just finished watching this the other day! For anyone interested: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5POb5fQ4BYM&t=979s 2021-10-20T12:30:18Z Comment by matticus40 Such a good episode, great questions! I think Chris hit the nail on the head with Star Wars being the most watched film ever with its wide appeal and fanatical fanbase. Oh and if you want to watch the original versions of the entire trilogy, you can download Harmy's Despecialized Editions, which are fan reconstructions of the theatrical versions of the movies from a variety of sources. I'm never going back to all the special edition nonsense. 2021-10-19T01:22:20Z Comment by CirrusMinor Shadow Of The Colossus (and its precursor ICO) would actually make for very interesting and singular films, much moreso than the likes of The Last Of Us, which is kind of already a movie turned into a game. Shadow Of The Colossus would bring something new to the cinematic table. Great pick, Chris 2021-10-18T15:54:15Z Comment by Mark Ritz I know for a number of years in the early to mid 80s, when ever we went over to my aunt and uncle's house, Star Wars was showing on HBO and was watched. I know it's my most watched movie 2021-10-18T15:34:13Z Comment by CirrusMinor My pick for the bit part probably is either Chris Evans or Alison Brie or Brandon Routh or Aubrey Plaza in Scott Pilgrim. 2021-10-18T15:31:57Z Comment by Mark Ritz I'm surprised you guys didn't bring up Brazil! The studio changed it to a happy ending and Gilliam took his name off it 2021-10-18T15:02:58Z Comment by CirrusMinor My pick for stacked cast and bad film is The 2016 Magnificent Seven. Before seeing this, I was convinced Denzel could not star in a bad movie. 2021-10-18T14:57:21Z Comment by CirrusMinor Aloha is so underwhelming that I once found it on Netflix, saw the cast, started playing it, and after a good 2 minutes realized I had already seen it. 2021-10-18T14:52:52Z Comment by CirrusMinor Speaking about Con Air, I think you guys will appreciate the localized title for France. Here it's called "Les Ailes de l'Enfer", which means The Wings of Hell. Honestly not one of the worst localized tiltes we've had, as Con Air means about nothing here. 2021-10-18T14:42:18Z Comment by Dumahim Jeremy is right about The Wire. Watched it a couple years ago and it's alright. I don't see the hype out it at all. 2021-10-18T12:51:03Z Comment by Dan Harvey I would argue that the love for The Lion King hasn't faded. I know it's not the movie, but the Lion King Broadway musical (as of 2017) had grossed over $8 Billion, just shy of the combined total of ALL the Star Wars movies. I would imagine it's now eclipsed that, and as I said I know it's not the movie, but that does show the ongoing love for the story. You maybe don't have the same level of fanatical fan-base as Star Wars, but there is more of a Universe to Star Wars, which will be why people pour over the films regularly for the small details. 2021-10-18T12:38:07Z Comment by Dumahim Ellie for The Last of Us will be played by Lady Morning from Game of Thrones. Also, it's an HBO series, not a movie. 2021-10-18T12:25:42Z
