You guys are the best! 2017-12-01T18:17:20Z Comment by Mus check out my mixtape 2017-11-30T21:34:20Z Comment by Stacey Sales OMG. HAHAHAHA I FELT IT, I SWEAR! 2017-11-28T20:42:29Z Comment by Mack thank you for laying off the Rushmore thing 2017-11-28T19:11:58Z Comment by Mark Ritz IMHO Beauty and the Beast caused Pixar. At the time, the ballroom scene was a huge deal - "That's what computers could do?!?!". I haven't seen it in a while, but it was CGI background with I think hand drawn characters. It brought people on the CGI train. Once people knew they could throw money at CGI scenes in hand drawn animation, they knew they could throw money at a full CGI movie. However, if Toy Story would have had a crap story... 2017-11-28T14:19:37Z Comment by Untalented The Room is fantastic in a cinema. The screening I went to everyone brought plastic spoons that we'd throw at the screen intermittently and people would just shout out quotes that are nowhere near the right scene and someone else would call out the response. So surreal. But I'm so glad that if I had to see Batman V Superman, it was in a packed theatre, because everyone was getting restless waiting for literally anything interesting to happen. There were a few stifled chuckles when something stupid happened and finally the Martha moment came and everyone laughed and the audience realised it wasn't just them thinking it was a bad movie and from then out, nobody was worried about being rude and just laughed freely at the movie as it progressed. Hopefully there wasn't an unnoticed person who was genuinely enjoying the movie because we probably spoiled the experience. 2017-11-28T12:58:07Z Comment by Anton Preacher And 12 Monkeys !! 2017-11-28T11:16:22Z Comment by Anton Preacher We nedd Rob Bottin to come back !! 2017-11-28T10:50:40Z Comment by Obinna Onyeije I LIKED The Rescuers Down Under! Philadelphia, Sleepless in Seattle, Forrest Gump, A League of their Own, Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, Green Mile, Toy Story 1 & 2, You've Got Mail, and I believe Joe Versus the Volcano. Nobody even comes close 2017-11-27T17:47:09Z Comment by Josh Robbins I can't remember if this has been a question already but: 2017-11-27T15:37:55Z Comment by Josh Robbins I feel like independent movies are coming back in a big way with the help of Amazon and Netflix butevem production studios like A24. With them alone we have movies like Ex Machina, The Lobster, Moonlight, Room, The Witch, Killing of a Sacred Deer, Good Time, It Comes at Night. Sure they aren't mega blockblusters like Pulp Fiction but they are fantastic movies that deserve some recognition. I feel like the next decade will be another rennasiance in terms of independent movies that could probably rival the 90's. 2017-11-27T14:31:07Z Comment by MCLegoboy I'm sorry Jeremy, I know your anxiety probably skyrocketed, but holy crap, that was one of the funniest things on this podcast. Your reaction, Berrett's quips, oh man, I haven't laughed so hard in awhile. Clearly this means I am on some level a sadist, and I'll have to work some of that out, but I needed the laugh. 2017-11-27T14:08:53Z Comment by zac I still have no idea why the transformers movies are so long. Do they know their audience? Anyone going to see it wants 90 minutes of robots fighting no one is going to see it for the writing lol 2017-11-27T13:42:18Z Comment by zac Have you guys watched LOTR lately? Gollum is starting to look a little cartoonish and there's a couple other random scenes that arent holding up too well. 2017-11-27T13:37:06Z Comment by AndrewTheSloth THE FUCK? 2017-11-27T13:30:52Z Comment by Jonathan Bossenger When Austin Powers 2 came out I was amazed to hear the dad from Ax Murderer, and then he pitched up in Shrek as well! 2017-11-27T12:52:56Z Comment by Jonathan Bossenger I personally feel like 94 - 99 were 5 of the best movie years of all time. 2017-11-27T12:33:40Z
