Dear friends and listeners,
once again I've taken full advantage of a kind collab offer by a friend, Roberto Sass ( @dj-rubberman )
Like me, he happens to be a Depeche Mode fan; unlike me, he's able to produce a lot of original music :D
A quality DM-like original song, no way I could turn this offer down! Here's the full story as described by Roberto on his cloud ( https://soundcloud.com/dj-rubberman/poisoned-words ) complete with lyrics:

When I first started out making music it seemed that everything I attempted sounded like Depeche Mode and I tried my best to escape this by testing out other genres. Every now and then though its fun to bounce back and make something that is authentic to the sound they created. Knowing that our copyc4t (Paolo D'Emilio) got a craze for them as well, it was a natural choice to ask if he would be up for the task to make an original for a change. Not sure how he managed with it but he took the lyrics I wrote and tweaked them to create a really nice fit.
So here it is "Poisoned Words", a song about lost love and big regrets...hope ya feel it :).
Big thanks to Paolo for his great vocal recordings and a true pleasure finally making a track with him!!!
-- Lyrics:
"She was looking at me, she said she needed to talk, about some serious things in mind
not the best of my days, more like the worst of my days, when she walked out that door
what happened to her, what happened to me, what happened to the love that was meant to be
where are you now when I need you the most, is there another me, walking in my shoes
so unfair it first seems, the things I’ve done wrong, I probably got what I deserved
she walked out that door, there will be no more, what it was before
it won't be the same, I'm feeling so ashamed, about what I'm to blame for
she walked out that door, there will be no more, what it was before
the hardest love of all, the one once torn apart, by poisoned words from the heart"
