This is the second song that DeeP. and I began together. I really enjoy working on these darker tracks with DeeP. and exploring themes of depression, anxiety, fear, and shame. This song was inspired by a person that I was working with who would call me evil whenever he saw me. Even with me being as positive and non judgmental as possible, I am sure I was seen as another person telling him what to do and making decisions for him based on judgmental criteria. I think these are feelings many of us have had and it can be easy to relate to, though difficult to confront.
I am grateful that we always have an opportunity to grow, learn, reflect, and evolve as individuals, communities, nations, and as a species. May we all be better to each other.
Giant thanks to DeeP. for working with me on this track. And huge thanks to Nick for joining me on this first track together. I have long enjoyed and felt inspired by Nick’s creative and experimental guitar work and musicianship. I am super glad to have his vibe on this track!

Lyrics:
You’re never gonna make it
You’re dumb and you know it
You’re just a mistake kid
Don’t belong and you show it
Why you even trying
This ain’t meant for you kid
I already know that your lying
We already know that you did it
They know your planning on taking it
And gonna try to deny it
Why even try to fight it
That’s just the way life is
You’re never gonna change it
You must be deranged if you
Think anything will be different
If you get outta here shit
You’ll still be the same kid
Just a little punk kid
Look what you done did
When you got mad then you run hid
Don’t ever listen
To what people are saying kid
Better watch your language
Always talking trash
Claiming disadvantage
You and me we clash
Why can’t you manage
Come off way too brash
I can tell that you’re damaged
Parents shoulda whooped your ass
Who you think you talking to
Always talking back
I know all about you ’n
Your side of the track
Don’t question me
Look at me
When you hear me speaking
Think you know everything
Really know nothing
Parent’s got nothing
Apparent your fronting
Looking confronting
That’s why I ain’t trusting
Homelife disgustin’
Cop frequently busting
No wonder you like that
Your really screwed up kid
Disdain disgust despite distrust
Dismissed deprived derided and cussed
Disparaged, defied, despised when discussed
Detested, depreciated, decried, and hushed
Oh, here comes the demon again
And he’s wearing his crown
Here comes the devil again
Pretending to be your friend
In an invisible gown
You are so worthless
Won’t amount to anything
Going through life purposeless
There’s nothing you bring
Your just an embarrassment
You show no respect
Always been a disappointment
All you touched is wrecked
Where’s your self-esteem kid
Where’s your sense of pride did
You think can get by with
Living on a free ride shit
Better watch where your going
I can tell you don’t give a damn
Nor care to understand
Perspective other than
The one that your knowing
Don’t give a shit
Always so negative
Quick to give up
Can’t contro ya temper
About to blow up
I can tell that your stuck
Ain’t gonna change
It’s time that you face it
Never act your age
Your impulsive ’n impatient
Look at your rage
Can’t have a conversation
Should put you in a cage
Before you fuckup again Kid
Disgraced, degraded, deplored, dominated
Diminish, demeaned, defamed, humiliated
Discredited, devalued, denounced, subjugated
Denied, debased, detained, incarcerated
Oh, here comes the devil again
And he’s wearing his crown
Here comes the devil again
Pretending to be your friend
In an invisible gown
