Daniel Batts a.k.a D.J.D is a dj, music producer and event organiser from South bucks.
Daniel found his love for underground music in the hotbed of vauxhall london where he spent many years following his hero's, john oo flemming , darren pearce, skol, drew to name but a few, to nights, and days, such as Twisted, sunnyside up, trinity, strawberry sundays, mind over matter x-static, peach and many more. It was during this time daniel had amassed a wide taste in the harder faster more serious end of the dance music spectrum and felt the undying urge to recreate those magical moments for others just as his hero's had done for him. Here began his journey into djing and with coaching from already established london djs such as Andy Dearing, daniel was well on his way to fullfilling his dream. Fuelled by his unbelieveable thirst for music daniels learning curve was steep and before long felt it was time to showcase his skills in front of a crowd, so along with two close dj friends, martin powell aka dj pwee and simon cronin aka jonEc, he staged a night of underground music in londons leicester square no less!!
After leicester square more events followed including a large drum and bass night at Londons Electroworks showing daniel had more than just one style of music in his arsenal, this in turn led to house nights and also to pirate radio sets around the capital where he would showcase his love for all styles earning him a friday night show with good friend JonEc.
It was at this time daniel made the natural progression into production with his first unreleased album " Product " showcasing tracks from every genre from chillout right up to harcore but all encompassing his " give back to the ravers " uplifting energy.
To date daniel has amassed a huge amount of productions to reflect all his experiences in dance music across many genres, some of which you will hear during his dj sets, along with his trademark infectious smile, all designed for one purpose and one purpose only, maximum aural pleasure.
Recently daniel had the satisfaction of playing back at his clubbing "home" Hidden ( formerly the chunnel club ) vauxhall for Vinyl Impact where he had the lofty pleasure of handing the decks over to hard house legend Rob Tissera on a three roomed night that also saw the likes of darren pearce, brad clarke, jon hanley and tony price and many more re-living those golden years of underground trance and hard house, an era daniel holds dearly close to his heart but also propells his whole attitude to future music.
