Pavilion (Eric Johnson cover) by David Wayne Hardy published on 2022-08-20T00:06:48Z This is a cover version of "Pavilion" which is off of Eric Johnson's "Venus Isle" album. The guitar parts are all edits from multiple takes and the speed phrases were broken down into smaller sections, then strung together via audio editing. All guitars are processed with: Scuffham Amps S-Gear: www.scuffhamamps.com/ and Softube's Marshall JMP 2203: www.softube.com/marshall-jmp-2203 My guitar skills are very limited, but the power of audio editing allows for me to do things that are physically impossible otherwise. All rhythm tracks were programmed and recorded using the Cubase 8 DAW. Plugins used were "Addictive Drums", "MODO Bass" along with several software synths. The guitars were recorded with an EJ Stratocaster > T.C. Electronics Hyper Gravity > Steinberg MR816csx audio interface > Cubase. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy and awarded the Purple Heart: usssanfrancisco.org/the-stories/wen…ll-r-hardy-usn/ Genre Rock
