DirtyElectroLovers Jamie Stewart York Make music for the masses- Sing loud, play it louder and please don't let other's take credit for your sounds by submitting to commercialism. KORG, YAMAHA & CASIO are the newest pieces of equipment in the DEL armoury! "I'm slightly changing the way I do things, by using KORG for the first time, as it's got a better 'feel' to it and a seemingly greater ability in keeping up with the fast-moving technological advance. I hope it can be a platform which betters my music" - Jamie Stewart (DirtyElectroLovers' front-man). June 2012. Born in East London, England, the future was dramatically changed with a life of moving from place to place, in England, Wales, Holland, Germany and France. With an upheaval of so much moving around, music has been the one thing that has kept DEL in touch with society and a development of a passion for all genres of music, learning new things daily. The ethos for this project is to always progress by experimenting with the use of new software & hardware and to be committed to keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies & sounds, but maintaining the music which makes DEL unique, at the same time. The CDJ/MP3 route might be non-traditional, and frowned upon by more seasoned DJ's but with a vast CD collection and nearly all of Jamie's vinyl collection being damaged a few years ago, this seems the only reasonable, responsible, and viable area to pursue. The last few years have shown new horizons for DirtyElectroLovers, with new DJ connections and future collaborations across the pond in the USA and as far as New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Asia and South America. This will undoubtedly give an opportunity to discover new artists and gain more of an understanding to what makes music internationally recognised as being so important to so many. Please feel free to message any advice, as it's of DirtyElectroLovers' (DEL) opinion that everybody begins making music by crawling first, before learning to run and we should never forget that we will always crawl and learn throughout life, no matter how experienced, or successful we are!. Also, please feel free to mix any of the uploaded tracks and let the lovers of music (DEL) know that you've done so. The future is ours if we grasp it with both hands! Let the music community and the lovers of music always stay as one voice and forever remain diverse and unique in our passion to make excellent music and accept the music of others!
