Supreme" Curry (rapper/producer), Eric "Tysheen" Freeman (DJ), Christopher "Rizzo" Warren (Hype-Man) and Joseph "Music Maestro J-Rule" Jenkins (producer). The group released several singles between 1993 and 1994 including the underground classics “The Real Hip Hop” and “Drug Game.” “Drug Game” was recognized by The Source magazine with a powerful write up praising them for the songs socially conscious lyrics. The music video for the track was shot by then-up-and-coming, video director Hype Williams. Featured here is "The Real Hip Hop" b/w "Ready Ta Roll," one of Ready To Roll's most sought out pieces of wax, originally released in 1993 and presented here newly remastered from the original 12" vinyl mixes and finally made available in the digital domain, including all 6 original mixes.
