Joakim A Second Nature Postlude by Études published on 2022-11-21T09:53:00Z This mixtape is an extension of my album Second Nature released one year ago on Tigersushi. I tried again to create an immersive and contemplative soundspcape that blurs the line between field recordings and manipulated or synthesized sounds, questioning our relationship with nature through active listening. Like Emanuele Coccia wrote on the album liner notes, “Music is not, as has often been thought, a minor and less detailed form of world perception. It is the sensory space that allows all things to build a unity -literally, their harmony. [...] Joakim shows us that it is not space that unites different life forms, nor is it food. Species do not meet in ecosystems, they must find a common rhythm. Thanks to this album we now know that music is primarily the place where species meet and join together. That’s why we are every time as inebriated by it. Comment by ASOA XXX2.55555 x) 2022-11-23T12:14:36Z
