February are a quartet of young ambitious musicians from Ostrava, Czech Republic, that formed in summer 2015. In February 2016, they released their debut single 'Hide Me Under Autumn Leaves', which gave them an opportunity to be heard on multiple radio stations and pushed them up to contests, such as Radio Wave Starter or Czeching 2016, and many shows across the country and abroad. In 2017, they committed to making their very first long-playing record, which they now proudly present.
Branching Tracks is the band's debut album featuring the finest of their work from the three years of existence, including the reworked version of the aforementioned single 'Hide Me Under Autumn Leaves'. The album offers a wide-scale dive into the ocean of sound inspired by many artists of 90's and present, carrying the elements of indie rock, shoegaze, post-punk and post-rock. The band itself defines their style on the album to be post-indie.
There are nine songs listed on the record, which draw their lyrics on from the band members' personal lives, their hardships, loves, doubts and hopes as well as world events, horror visions and abstraction.
