Windmill groaning in the desert by felixblume published on 2021-08-28T21:32:50Z A windmill in the desert of Arizona is screaming while the wind is coming. Those windmills are used to pump water, in order to give water to cattle or wild animals for hunting. The groaning is produced naturally by the central mast on a piece of wood (part of the windmill). Recorded during a scouting for an upcoming sound art project in Arizona (to be done in 2022). Many thanks to Barry, Mimi and Jay for their help.
