Firewire Deeply influenced by the blues tradition, Mark Lowrie plays electric blues in the style of the greats of British blues from the 60s and 70s – Yardbirds, Cream, Free, Bluesbreakers, Clapton, Peter Green and Mick Taylor – but in doing so, bring his own songs and personality to the fore. And in the same vein as many of those forebears, Mark's Firewire presents the challenge of a trio of electric guitar, bass and drums, where Mark is joined by stalwarts of the Melbourne blues scene. Mark Lowrie - Guitar and vocals Mark is a versatile guitarist with long term experience in many styles - from traditional and contemporary blues, to rock and even some alt country. He has played with the likes of Wrecking Ball (with Moosh McColm hosting the long running Royal Hotel blues jam), The Rust and others as well as a solo performer.
