Glass Mind Glass Mind Mexico City Glass Mind was founded in 2005 by guitarist Benjamin Berthier who was 15 at the time and drummer Edgar Garduño, who was 16. They took part in three band contests adding Pablo Berthier (guitar) and Michel Villamor (bass), winning one 3rd (Yamaha Band Competition 2005) and two 1st places (Yamaha Band Competition 2006 and Rock Olympus 2007). In 2008, GM put out the album Haunting Regrets with mexican label Circo Volador. In 2010 the band toured Japan, performing in Tokyo, Osaka and Shiga. They started re-recording their album as a whole with new arrangements and a brand new track. This time the album was produced by the band themselves, and mixed by Brett Caldas Lima. 2011 saw the release of the rerecorded Haunting Regrets album. In 2014, after been selected by Mike Portnoy to play at Progressive Nation at Sea 2014 festival, GM realeses "Detritus" and "Inside the Whale", songs that mark the start of a new era in the band, instrumental music.
