DJ HadeedaH The Hadeda, or HadeedaH, is a medium-sized (about 5'10'), Caucasian-to-partly ginger species of humanoid disc jockey - the lesser-spotted sub-species of it's chart-topper/singles spinning more common counterpart. It has an extremely loud and distinctive "haa-haa-haa-de-dah" call—hence the name. The call is often heard when other nocturnal creatures flock to their after-dark watering holes in non-residential, industrial or business districts. The HadeedaH is found throughout South Western Southern Africa in open grasslands, forests and bushveld, as well as in various urban locations such as school halls, coffee shop courtyards, dingy corridors and large private gardens. It has also occasionally been spotted in isolated South East Asian locations. It feeds mainly on things that contain high concentrations of groove and rhythm, using its long scimitar-like claw to probe deep into the infinte archives of planet earth's vast auditory landscapes. It feasts on traditional fare such as reggae, ska, funk and classic rock and has also been spotted exhibiting a palate for more obscure samples such as jungle and the darker varieties of house music. The HadeedaH is particularly welcomed at upbeat festive occasions as it is assiduous in extracting sensational dancing capabilities from idle bones and inducing powerful feelings of sonic euphoria. It is not clear how it detects these suppressed urges, but it seems likely that it can hear the desperate trembling of dance deprived muscle fibers and ligaments.
