A clutch of big, anthem-built records has put UK artist Harrison amidst a generation of electronic music artists that have dominated dance culture for the past decade. 2021 was a landmark year for Harrison with a cluster of highly-engaged single releases on disco:wax, Selected., One Seven, Universal & Lithuania HQ from collaborations with David guetta to a carefully curated blend of covers/remixes (Touch me, Best of You, Fall apart”), and original records Like Breathe Me In gaining over 5 million streams in 8 weeks, has seen an avalanche of attention directed at the young producer from tastemakers and dance-lovers worldwide.
Recent years’ successes include the release of his hit single ‘Praise You’ which stormed to a well-deserved no.1 in the Upfront Music Charts. Further, his instantly lovable single ‘Lucid Dreams’ on Selected. amassed more than 27 million streams and significant radio attention in its first few months since release, and his follow-up ‘Tainted love’ smashed the 14-million-streams-mark with ease. Harrison and ALOK teaming up to pay homage to Bronski Beat’s iconic classic with ‘Tell Me Why’, was an instant hit with tastemakers, generating an enormous 38 million streams on Spotify and, in view of its massively engaged audience, secured platinum status.
As a seasoned live performer, who’s renowned for delivering mesmerising performances which are a hybrid of DJing with live vocals, Harrison brings a flair and presence to each show that is unrivalled. Packed with crowd interaction and indomitable energy, his shows have grown to become solid crowd-pleasers everywhere from Ministry of Sound and Cream in the UK, to META Music Festival in China and the World DJ Festival in South Korea.
