2021.10.31 Above Tapanappa Creek Valley. Deep Creek National Park. Dawn. Spring. (Excerpt) by Hearing Beings published on 2022-02-12T02:48:57Z Please listen with good headphones, as this is a binaural recording. At first light, while the overnight rig was still recording down in the Tapanappa Creek valley, I gradually descended into the valley along the track from its western ridge with a lightweight binaural rig (recording into a D100), stopping to sit and enjoy the dawn, while also recording, at several locations along the way. This is a brief excerpt from one of those recordings, featuring a Grey Shrike-thrush in the foreground, with the dawn chorus softly filtering up from the valley below, and the Southern Ocean greeting the red cliffs and rocky shores to the right. Genre Field Recording Comment by Guillermo Funes The birds and the ocean in the backgorund sounds lovely 2022-02-20T17:12:09Z
