A Black-winged Currawong (Strepera versicolor melanoptera) alights on a Native Cherry tree (Exocarpos cupressiformis) right beside and above the microphones, and begins picking at the tiny Native Cherries... Other bird species that can be heard in this recording include (but are not limited to) Australian Golden Whistler, Australian Magpie, Common Blackbird (introduced species), Common Bronzewing, Crimson Rosella (‘Adelaide Rosella’), Grey Fantail, Grey Shrike-thrush, Laughing Kookaburra, Little Raven, Striated Pardalote, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Superb Fairy-wren, White-throated Treecreeper. Other species include the Common Eastern Froglet (Crinia signifera). Recorded respectfully on the land of the Kaurna people.
