Luiz Henrique Costa, better known by the artistic name Henrell, is an electronic music producer and DJ whose musical journey began at an early age, influenced by his musician parents. Delving into the realm of electronic music at the age of 16 marked the commencement of an inspiring trajectory.
In 2009, he immersed himself in the world of melodic Progressive House, drawing inspiration from artists such as Deadmau5, AdamK, and Soha. In the initial years of his musical production career, he established his artistic presence under the moniker "Rick Costa." In 2014, taking the bold decision to reinvent his musical identity, Luiz emerged as "Henrell."
The pivotal year of 2015 saw his participation in a remix contest hosted by the renowned Spinnin' Records, where he recreated "Chemicals" by Don Diablo and Tiesto. Securing an impressive second position in a competition with over a thousand participants, Luiz gained recognition from Don Diablo, who later featured his track "Truth" on his influential radio show, "Hexagon." This experience opened doors to support from prominent figures in the scene, including Nicky Romero, Bingo Players, Thomas Gold, DANNY, Yves V, DJ Antoine, Mike Candys, and others.
Henrell has left an indelible mark on various nightlife scenes in São Paulo, delivering performances at prestigious bars and nightclubs such as Josephine, Opium, Next Lounge, Mezzanine, Confraria Jardim, Palazzio Club, Rocket Sea Club, Highline, Naco Bar, Johnny C Bar, Jack Pub (Socoraba), La In Kaza (Varginha), among others.
Currently, Henrell serves as the resident DJ at MAHAU, one of São Paulo's most esteemed nightclubs. His residency is a testament to Henrell's talent and ability to craft engaging musical experiences, solidifying his presence in one of the most vibrant and demanding nightlife circuits.
