___INTERVIEW___
- Rafael, what does the word "deep" evoke for you when it is associated with music?
Rafacel Cancian : "Intense thing, something what could cause any emotion... In the music I feel that."
- What sounds or instruments or voices give you a particular emotion, and why?
"So, I really love the melody of the songs... Strings, synths, sexy drums, irresistible vocals. I love all in different time. The violins with synthesizers of soul music intrigues me because is a mix of psychedelia, sexy... and I like it."
- In this selection can you please two tracks and explain why they are "deep" for you?
"Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson - "We Almost Lost Detroit": this song has been with me all the time for the last 8 years. In good times, and in bad times... . Most of the time this song was a company for me in times when I was alone.
"Princess - "After The Love Has Gone (DJ Bad Mix)": it is a perfect combination of what I like in a song. Warm rhythm, intense melody, beautiful vocals and good synth. Perfect alchemy. This is not a song that I have many opportunity to play as often as I would like, I thought it was interesting to include this in this mixtape because it perfectly embodies the name of the show: "How Deep It Is ?".
