Eventually, local savant, Special Mack, decided to give direction to the drifting Russ Caldwell and Anthony Taylor. After a few tentative practices in Russ' apartment the band grew confident. After spirited soliciting on Facebook for a practice space, out of nowhere came Mike Dodson, local scene maker, offering his comfy, furnished shed as a practice space. And with that, the band's next practice became their most productive yet, recording two demos of songs in a haze of Country Club malt liquor.
