MIAMI,FLORIDA
Born in Jamaica raised in Miami, Florida to a family full of musical talent and influence.
Peedi Green's gift of vernacular showed itself at a young age through witty, rhythmic and metaphoric wordplay.
These skills awarded him the honor of being named the 2004 freestyle champion for The Source Magazine Unsigned Hype/AND 1 Mix tape series as well as being crowned by DJ Bigga Rankins of Cool Runnings/ Hittmenn DJs as “Freestyle King”, due to an array of battle victories.
Both, an accomplished Songwriter, Producer and self taught musical dynamo,Peedi was fortunate to have a seat at the head of the class as he was mentored by many industry heavy weights including Professor Griff of the group, Public Enemy, and Mr. Mixx of The 2 Live Crew.
Being signed to a label at the age of 13, he paid his dues by taking advantage of the machine he had at his disposal and tailored his craft by participating in freestyle battles up and down the East Coast, most of which he demolished.
Peedi Green taught himself not only to blend “New York Style” hip-hop with the gritty, club friendly “Southern Style”, but also to expand into beat making and production.
Peedi Green learned, and developed the use of live instruments in his music as early as age four.
He first developed an interest in drums,and taught himself how to play, and
by the time he was age nine, his Step Father began teaching him to play bass guitar.
Only four short years later he was offered a deal with a subsidiary of Luke Records.
This 14 year old was about to solidify his place in hip-hop with peers, and label mates to be such as The 2 Live Crew, Poison Clan, Tony MF Rock, and Professor Griff.
Peedi Green then known as "Bally Boy", and "Spade One",and was eventually signed to another stable on the Miami/Ft.Lauderdale music scene, 4 -Sight Records at age 16.
As a producer the multi-faceted entertainer has turned out records for the likes of International Dancehall/Reggae, and Hip hop artist: Capelton,
Sizzla, Louie Culture, Simple Simon, Beanie Man, , Mr.Easy, Wayne Wonder, and many more.
Also he has featured on records with Young Buck, NY Hip hop legend Craig G,Dirty South legends like Birmingham J, MC Shy D, Prince Rahiem,Mr.Charlie of Young N Restless. and Dj Mr. Mixx of
The infamous 2 Live Crew.
Peedi Green then known as Czar Black has also given stellular performances on events such as
two Core Dj's Retreats in Las Vegas,Nv, and Orlando,Florida which he was cosigned by record breaker, and Core Dj's Ceo Tony Neal.
To later 2010 perform during The BET Awards on a showcase in L.A hosted by Hittman Dj's Bigga Rankin sharing the stage with the likes of Nipsey Hustle,Bobby Valentino,Marcus Houston,Shiest Bub,Fonzworth Bently,and Tyga.
He received an A&R, Dj, Artist award from Digiwaxx Media, Slip n Slide Records, Po Boy Entertainment, and Street Connect Dj's
Returning to Miami, FL. forming BGMG(Black Glove Music Group) and 808KINGZ MUZIK
An independent label/Production Team
The years of the underground grind had finally run its course, and things have began to take a new turn.
He released his first commercial single "You can get it" on Down Under Entertainment/Baby Grande in 2010.
In 2015 a new single followed titled "Flight" via his own imprint BGMG(Black Glove Music Group) distributed by Famous Music Group/iNgrooves/UMG
2017 he released two singles via Sugo Music Group and Unlimited Sounds titled "Magic Mike", and "City Streets"
Peedi is now in 2020 preparing to promote his newly released single's titled "LIT" and "Don't Play" as well as upcoming mix tapes/Ep "CALIFLORIDIAN" and "Trunk Muzik 1003" released on 808Kingz Muzik/BGMG, and is currently residing in Los Angeles California,and has recently signed a new distribution deal
