It reads: "Here lies Ickorling's hopes and dreams"
.
Maybe I should've continued. Maybe I should still. Maybe Maybe.
But I lost the flow. I lost my drive. Yet eventually I found my will to live and gained eyes with which to count my blessings. I don't need to be special.
I just need... to breathe. To keep my head down, untill a time my lungs are ready for higher altitude. Nobody can do it all, everything we can imagine, all at once. But don't beat yourself up over it. If you can make even one person happy or comforted, it's an important impact.
Paralysis by analysis, or hypnosis by the mundane, just two of many snakes in the garden. Stress was meant for immediate danger, and vigilance and sober mindedness is for the everyday. Life really has no higher law than the golden rule, all the rest are lines in the sand.
I just want... to uphold myself, and then others. as others have done for me. No one can conquer your battle for you; only offer support to you. Therefore go into the world with clear goals, humble and not thirsty for selfish ambition.
The birds will be fine though they dont store up for winter. It's not your job to save the many, just be willing to help one with even just a cup of water or a listening ear.
It's important that you think for yourself, take every thought captive such that you don't merely follow. In doing so, the truth will be ugly, so its also important you don't alert employers or coworkers or gate keepers to your different way of thinking. Loose lips sink ships.
If you want to help the world, don't be quarrelsome, but in a very human approach-- speak your truth. Maybe not to family should it cause division, but stand your ground when pressed or stay silent. Maybe not to friends if you fear being alone, but beware the company you keep if they are so fickle.
Speaking out has become easily possible in places like this, the internet. write, film, speak, edit-- but why? Because... we are the 99.9% and they are the 0.01 who rule us, suppressing our life force. their power only works when their 1% lapdogs exert fear and lies on their subjects, tasking the 5% to grip our balls.
The remaining 95% is targeted, to become divided, such that 40% overall are sheepishly complacent. they defend the system, comply with the system. When your toxic job loses you as cheap labor, another sucker buys their lies and pushes the revolving door.
I was once naive, thought I could escape the matrix and help others. Yet, as many things I could learn, and feel, and express, it wasnt nearly enough. Now I'm just praying I can pull my own weight.
But there is a way we can all escape the matrix alive! That's to unify, to change the hearts and minds of the people. If the 95% are fed up, they know the corruption when they see it, society itself will wash through the system like a flood-- turning the hearts of the other 4% who managed the bureaucracy of tyranny. Leaving the 1% with stained reputations and unredeamabke hearts in ruin, as the people unite against them.
A worker's union is just a network of people who talk, it's not the government or company that controls them. Very few industries cannot legally strike.
But unions fail. EMR, a monopoly in emergency medical services pressured it's union to dissolve, shortly thereafter they cut wages for senior medics from $40 to $30 so they can hire more young people at $14. The bottom line is money, nobody gives a f***.
These union workers only needed to hold their ground, but enough faultered because they couldn't give up their $40 job-- well. How's that working out for them?
Then, what hope does the 95% in vauge unity; is there faith in politics? None!
Only God can change a heart, and unite us against tyranny. Jesus saves! Read the ESV bible.
Psalm 110:1 "The LORD said unto my Lord, 'Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."
