Inland Murmur Inland Murmur Inland Murmur are a Cardiff based indie band. Toby and Hannah, who front the band, grew up in rural Carmarthenshire and take a huge amount of inspiration from the Welsh landscapes of home. Their music treads a line from ambient nostalgia to indie crunch. The band formed in London, but quickly relocated to Cardiff. Their previous singles ‘Icarus’ , ‘Waterline’ and 'Freshwater' received BBC Radio play from Adam Walton and were featured on a number of blogs including ‘Get in Her Ears’ , ‘When the Horn Blows’ and 'Mystic Sons'. 'Glimpses Through Trees’ is Inland Murmur’s fourth single and was recorded in the depths of Pembrokeshire. Working with Owain Jenkins at StudiOwz the band have crafted a track full of indie sounds that reflects on the nature of South Wales and the uncertainty of starting a new chapter in their life.
