For the first release, we introduce the young Russian producer “Asten”, hailing from Stupino (a small town on the outskirts of Moscow). Asten is an artist whose creations typically separate him from the standard of trends, his sounds are Deep and Melancholic, with the addition of unique elements.
Asten provides us with “Fluctuations”, a 3 track EP, that also includes a lush remix from one of Australia's rising talents Joe Miller.
Track 1, "Fluctuations" speaks for itself, calmly greeting the listener with an energetic building synth lead, sporting a slow tempo range, but nonetheless gathering momentum and driving firmly in one direction, until from then onwards, 4/4s and deep emotive angelic vocal sounds are introduced. The rest of the drums and percussive elements follow suit, soft and crisp yet finely detailed, the gentle tambourine hi-hats draw focus, before regrouping of new firmer synth lines complement the existing patterns, until the very end.
Track 2, "Seashell Song" fixates mainly around soundscapes, the sounds of footsteps are the first thing present from the go in this interestingly enigmatic track, recorded by the artist himself, followed up with otherworldly atmospherical leads, climactic pads, and a combination of different ideas all precisely bundled together, and blending seamlessly throughout before the drums gently tick out, creating a less mysterious and unearthly atmosphere.
Track 3, Is Joe Miller’s take on “Seashell Song”, The script between the parts that make you move and the parts that make you bliss you out remains, along with the atmospheric nature of the original, yet this could get away with being a genuine piece of music in its own right, the sounds are a lot more evoking whilst bursting with life, as it channels through its tricky swishing drum patterns and flickering percussion, it drags the listener into a spiralling wormhole of melancholic beauty, right up until the breakdown, until then erupting in dramatic plumes, introducing euphoria and blessing one’s self with a simple poignant melody, before lifting off again, only to gently reduce all elements a lot less accordingly, and in a manner that leaves one longing for more.

Our label is a creative outlet aimed to explore electronic music in some of its most unique forms, not so much club orientated, neither specifically ambient nor downtempo, but something of an Interlude in between.
