The music of Jeremy Brendan Day is the soundtrack that vividly captures that time and place.
His style runs deep & wide, encompassing everything from Rock to Folk and Blues to Western, each offering every song the potential to become something more, something different, something real.
His 2004 debut album "Little Black Radio" was helmed by studio maverick Arun Pal. After a brief hiatus, he was back in the studio to collaborate with local guru Ron Roy and famed Producer Clif Norrell (The Refreshments) to complete his 2011 album "This Road Leads To" itself an emotional, love-torn journey through the eyes of anybody out there facing the gritty honesty of real life, both the good sides & the bad.
For 2014, push comes to shove & at J.B. is at full throttle. Geared up & in band mode, J.B. returns with long time friend & bass player Lee Huntington, newly found Guitar player Steve Fournier, studio guitar/co-arranger Ron Roy & an ever-rotating line-up of drummers.
With many shows played & some hardships they finally ready get release the first album under the Resistance name.
Teaming up with producer/drummer Wayne Bond, (Paul MacLeod) as well as a star studded line up including Ron Roy, Darryl Romphf, Sandra Bouza, Christen Latham, Mary 5e, Jay Walsh they will soon complete the album "Another Bridge Shattered." A darker, edgier, grittier album that wrestles with inner demons, addiction, lust & love to become your late summer soundtrack.
Set to tour late 2014 charged-up with in yer face rock n' roll shows, hooky songwriting with a blast of energy, Jeremy Brendan Day creates songs that are meant to last a lifetime. His lyrics fill a void in all of us offering reflection of joy, sadness, wonder & finishing it with redemption.
This is a fun, soulful journey you'll never forget.
