T.A.F 2014-04-07T18:33:18Z Comment by White At Night Hey Dan, I'll bet there's a bunch of versions out there. That one sounds cool. Toots is still out there touring. 2014-02-26T19:10:37Z Comment by lonesome d string band this track is particularly excellent, and not one I knew before 2014-02-25T22:25:45Z Comment by White At Night Dan, this single of 54-46 was released in 68. Not sure if it's the original release. It's on Toot's Time Tough anthology. 2014-02-25T21:45:25Z Comment by White At Night That's what I like to hear Dan! Cheers Joe 2014-02-25T21:33:04Z Comment by lonesome d string band quick q - that version of 54-46 - was that the original take? I know it's more common, but I have another version w/o the intro and w/o the 'hit me' sections that feels earlier. Suspect the one you use was a later re-cut but can't figure out from when. Either wayy, great tune. 2014-02-25T20:25:48Z Comment by lonesome d string band Man, this is killer... Rock Steady is my favorite Jamaican era. I'm about a third of the way in now and I've only recognized one song, though I've known a few of the riddims and definitely recognized some of the voices. Nice deep cuts, love it. 2014-02-25T19:36:31Z Comment by user10143481 This is great Joe!
