Kristian Veech Kristian Veech Nashville, TN With a whimsical, starry-eyed approach and vulnerable story telling, Kristian forges his own sound, backed by a sheen of country, pop, rock and americana. As a multifaceted musician, he’s no stranger to wearing many hats: working in his studio self producing records, then taking to the stage to share his life experiences through his songs. Hailing from Binghamton NY, the Nashville based singer-songwriter and producer attended the Berklee College of Music, and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. From 2014 – 2019, he spent his time in Boston as a member of several bands, in addition to performing as a solo act. He fronted the prog rock group Fordham Road, and backed pop-rock singer-songwriter Amanda McCarthy on bass and keyboards. After releasing two studio albums and an EP, Kristian relocated to Nashville, TN in 2019 to fully pursue a career in music. As a record producer, Kristian has worked with artists such as Amanda McCarthy, Becca Levy, Ty Openshaw, and Savannah Smith. He produced half of McCarthy’s debut album “Road Trip,” which was nominated for the New England Music Awards “Album of the Year” in 2019. His music constantly defies genre boundaries, with his songwriting ranging anywhere from symphonic art rock epics to quiet folk ballads. Despite the wide varieties of sounds and genres used in his songs, there’s still an underlying sound that brings the music full circle. Kristian has been an active live performer since 2015. He currently plays regularly throughout the New England area as the frontman of Fordham Road, Amanda McCarthy’s rhythm guitarist and as a solo act. For his solo gigs, Kristian takes the stage with only his acoustic guitar, microphones, and loop station; layering sounds to create seamless song arrangements on the spot without the help backing tracks or a band.
