Lence - Live Performance - Blur the Lines at Leeds Playhouse - 2019 by Lence published on 2021-12-19T15:38:48Z This is the audio of my Blur the Lines Performance Live at Leeds Playhouse. This event took place as part of the Furnace Festival. It was a Sold Out show featuring artists across Leeds. Here are some quotes from a recent Yorkshire Evening Post Article - As well as hosting creative writing workshops in schools and youth centres, Lence has launched his own events to help other aspiring musicians and creatives. Blur The Lines brings together a versatile collection of rappers, poets and spoken word artists under one roof, helping them form connections with artists they might not otherwise meet. Lence said: "As an artist I always want to take responsibility and create something else for other people from Leeds. “It came from my own experiences with poetry and rap, and from there I wanted to go to different events and bring in different performers on the same night, people who would never usually end up on the same line-up. “You might have a comedian that does parodies on acoustic guitar, and then a rapper." One of Lence's proudest achievements is hosting a sold-out Blur The Lines event at Leeds Playhouse in 2019. “The event at Leeds Playhouse felt like a cup final of creativity," he added. "In order to make the energy authentic and real, I had to bring in those people to add to the energy - instead of just seeing it as something for myself. "The more people you bring in with the same vision and energy, they’ll add to it.” Links to Lence Facebook – www.facebook.com/LenceMusic Twitter - twitter.com/JustLence Instagram – www.instagram.com/lencemusic/ YouTube – www.youtube.com/c/LenceMusic Spotify – bit.ly/spotifylence Big thanks to Ant Robling for the Photo!
