"Bastian's Happy Flight" (1979 Klaus Doldinger, 2005, rev 2013) - Piano by Sebastian Wurm | Composer published on 2013-02-24T02:05:42Z This is a piano arrangement of "Bastian's Happy Flight" ("Flug auf dem Glücksdrachen") from the "The NeverEnding Story" ("Die Unendliche Geschichte"). When I was in school, there was an outstanding musician, who used to play this on the piano. His name was Andrés Atala-Quezada (my, what a name...) When I asked him to write down, what he was playing, he said he wouldn't for no reason. In 2005 I remembered him and this fantastic piece by Klaus Doldinger. So I sat down and wrote my own version heavily influenced by what I could recall of his playing at that time.
