Micah Williams better known by his stage name Mr. Williamz, is a Reggae/Dancehall artiste from West London. He is known by reggae fans world wide as an original sound system toaster, Appears in the Yardie film directed by Idris Elba.
(Early life)
Mr. Williamz was born in London, England. He is of Jamaican/Indian & Fiji/Cypriot descent. When he was 6 years old, his father returned home to Jamaica bringing both him and his younger with him. They lived in the rural parish of St. Mary where he attended St. Mary's High School, he was good at arts and maintained good grades. He was already fascinated with the local sound system in his area, the dancehall was close to his house so whenever they would string up for a dance, he'd be there to watch them wire and tune up the sound for later, eagerly waiting for the chance to test the microphone while they warm up the sound, after microphone check was done he would go home get ready for the dance later, by age 10 he was a local favourite winning local clashes and competitions, at the age 15 he returned to London to live with his mother and finish school, after which he enrolled in a performing arts course at Hammersmith & West London college. He bacame a father soon after and worked as a postman his career in music began.

Mr. Williamz emerged on the reggae scene in 2008 with his first official release 'Babylon Helicopter" for Necessary Mayhem, which was followed by No Cigarette released the following year on Biggest Reggae Anthems (Greensleeves 2009). This lead to a string of single releases for the U.K reggae label, which created demand for live appearances and recording offers with other independent Labels. Over the time Mr Williamz has collaborated with producers such as Major Lazer (Smooth sailing), Shy FX (Bad boy business), Mungos Hi Fi (Musically Mad , Computer Age) & Green Lion Crew (The General Comes to Town) to name a few.
(Performances & Shows)
He has performed and appeared at shows, festival and dancehalls throughout Europe, Asia, USA and is the first reggae artist to tour India doing a 5 city tour with Reggae Rajahs in 2011. He toured Japan earlier that year with Mungos Hi Fi doing 5 cities also. Other countries and cities he has performed include Peru, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, China, Jamaica, Ireland, California, St Croix, Puerto Rico, US Virgin islands.
Attending the Welcome to Jamrock Cruise in 2014 he performed with Shinehead at the pre party, and then on the cruise after which he was invited by Damian Marley to perform the following year with King Jammys, Supercat was also performing that year, heard Mr. Williamz performing and ran up on stage greeted Mr Williamz and they went on to share a lyric freestyle together with King Jammys on the mixer.
(Influences and inspiration)
Heavily inspired by the dancehall style of the mid 80z-late 90z era, the moment you hear Mr Williamz you can immediately tell that Supercat is a huge influence and musical inspiration for him, other major influences are Nicodemus, Early B & Junior Cat, Ninjaman, Junior Reid, Ricky Stereo, Shabba Ranks, Papa San, Capleton, Buju Bantan, Bobby Culture to name a few
