Long Faces New Jersey Long Faces is an American indie rock band originally formed in Northern New Jersey by songwriters Matthew Condon and Michael Neglia in 2013. The band’s lineup also features guitarist Andrew Milea and bassist Lou Panico. The members have over 30 years of cumulative experience that includes both national and international tours, and festival appearances at SXSW, CMJ, The Vans Warped Tour and the Soundwave Festival in Australia. Recent accolades include a feature on The Huffington Post's curated CMJ playlist, and being named The Deli Magazine's NYC Artist of the month for October 2014. Long Faces is a seamless blend of poetic, engaging lyrics, memorable melodies and clever arrangements, all bound together by a spirited Rock & Roll foundation similar to The Strokes, Young the Giant, and Wilco. Their music balances limitless passion and musical precision to provide a thoughtful twist on life, love and contemporary culture. Long Faces has recently completed the production of their debut full-length release entitled “Old Friends”. The album was a crowd funded DIY project, written and recorded by the band in a garage-turned-studio space. “Old Friends” was mixed by Chris Badami at Portrait Recording Studios in Pompton Plains, NJ. Scott Hull, whose resume includes artists such as Bob Dylan and Miles Davis, mastered the album at Masterdisk in NYC.
