Luck & Lana is a Los Angeles based duo comprised of Luckyiam, of the world famous Living Legends crew, and Lana Shea, a singer, songwriter and MC. Luck & Lana bring together a wide range of musical backgrounds to create a sound that has been described as "future music"; They flawlessly combine elements of hip-hop, EDM, soul, trap and pop, and they are turning heads from the LA underground to the blogosphere.
Luckyiam, an L.A. native, is a hip-hop veteran and co-founder of the Legends crew. The bad dude has toured worldwide and performed at major festivals from Rock the Bells to Coachella and more. Luckyiam is constantly evolving and Luck & Lana is the latest chapter of his impressive musical resume. Lana Shea is a West Coast kid as well, with roots in L.A. and Portland. While fairly fresh to the music scene, she has written songs for various films and TV shows, and her debut EP, R.A.P.S., has generated major buzz with one track landing her a featured spot on ESPN.
The two artists teamed up in 2012 and began making tracks with various producers, but gold was struck when they linked up with Kill The Computer, an EDM production team also out of Los Angeles. What began as one song, Bang Bang (which can be found on Luckyiam's latest solo release, "Time To Get Lucky") led to another and then another, until finally a full-length album of EDM- infused hiphop with dirty bass, clean bars and soulful hooks was born. The debut album, Luck and Lana Kill The Computer, was a major step forward for the marriage of Hip-Hop and EDM, and resulted in opening slots for major acts such as Diplo, Kaskade, Snoop Dogg, and Justin Martin.
Their evolution is apparent with the release of their 2nd album, available January 1st, 2016.
Welcome to the world of Luck and Lana.
