"Rod Stewart's Five Foot Ten-Perhaps This Song was Written About Him?"
Heck if I can remember! Perhaps my song parodies ran the gamut;
( I did used to know a guy who was Five-Eleven, but he wasn't thin & not like heaven, so nothing rhymed for him! (Don't worry, I'll get to the 5 foot 5, and the 5 foot four, too. Don't want any of you guys to feel left out!)
Five Foot Ten!
LyndaFaye He said, "She's five foot two, eyes of blue,
Oh what those five foot could do!
Hasn't anybody seen his girl?
Turned up nose, turned down hose
Flapper, yes sir, one of those,
Hasn't anybody seen his girl ?
Now if you should run into a five foot two,
All covered with furs,
Diamond rings all those things,
You bet your life it couldn't be her!
She could love, she could coo,
Could she could she could coo?
Hasn't anybody seen his girl ?
I say he's five foot ten, tall and thin
,I's love to see that guy again,
Hasn't anybody, seen my man?
I met him here, at the bar,
Last I heard he was smokin' cigars.
Has anybody seen my man?
Now if you should run into a five foot ten,
And he's driving a Mercedes Benz
Lots o' dough and lots o' friends,
You bet your life it couldn't be him!
But he could laugh, he'd boogaloo,
Nothin' that my man couldn't do,
Hasn't anybody-seen my man?
Repeat:
I say he's five foot ten, tall and thin,
I's love to see that guy again,
Hasn't anybody, seen my man?
I met him here, at the bar,
Last I heard he was smokin' cigars.
Now if you should run into a five foot ten,
And he's driving a Mercedes Benz
Lots o' dough and lots o' friends,
You bet your life it couldn't be him!
But he could laugh, he'd boogaloo,
Nothin' that my man couldn't do,
Hasn't anybody-seen my man?
Hasn't anybody seen, my,
Hasn't anybody seen, my,
Hasn't anybody seen my man?
