Genre Soundtrack Comment by magnus Udd Sweet! 2023-01-24T02:02:27Z Comment by Onsyzygy The "talk box-like" distortion should be amplified in my opinion, is one of the signature of this track. All the rest of this remix is literally AWESOME. You nailed the original sound, Matt! 2021-03-14T18:37:50Z Comment by Martin Swartling Just smiling=) 2020-03-31T10:59:20Z Comment by PREDATOR Last Ninja is the best. This is awesome - thank you! 2019-02-28T15:48:40Z Comment by Derbergo 😻 2018-11-30T18:10:54Z Comment by The Spirit Great version, love it ! 2018-10-11T20:15:53Z Comment by OMEGA_KID Sound a little proto, but sign of greatness already here. Needs to improve the arpeggio at 2:30 2018-06-19T19:30:22Z Comment by Gurajit Rai Absolutely belting drums - sounds even harder than the original...! 2018-04-07T16:26:23Z Comment by Nis I've had the original of this as my phone ringtone for a very long time 2018-03-28T10:23:40Z Comment by Ivan Kaschinsky great stuff, love it ^^ 2018-01-28T10:47:45Z Comment by Spigz I don't know - I'm tapping away, but the 2:22 mark which I think is the 2:00 mark in the original kind of fizzles out, where the original hits its high pitch crescendo - hoping the full version recaptures that crescendo ;) 2018-01-24T15:45:30Z Comment by dRaven Awesome stuff!!! Fond memories flooding back!! 2018-01-19T11:35:37Z Comment by coin_op Wow! I´m high on Retro-Emotion ^^ 2017-12-31T19:59:48Z Comment by Sanjo Ride Ninja! 2017-12-29T20:05:43Z Comment by Sascha Wissel OK, a stack of paper just fell off my subwoofer. Great stuff! 2017-12-26T17:35:53Z Comment by Stephan Anders I am not the first one to post it here or anywhere else, but one of your next projects could be a remake of the Last Ninja 1 album. 2017-12-25T22:13:05Z Comment by AL82_Retro Great stuff as always Matt! 2017-12-20T00:53:09Z Comment by Hannibal_pjv Not bad. Again feeling great after hearing this preview. Still keeping that old SID feeling with fuller sounds! 2017-12-19T14:31:32Z Comment by TheExtraterrestrial I wish you would make the entire Last Ninja 1 album remake :) 2017-12-19T14:27:44Z Comment by nigels.com I don't know if you have any dynamic range left to work with hear, but I really want that gliding electronic roar thing to stand out a bit more. 2017-12-19T12:31:02Z Comment by nigels.com Loving this. Just so epic! 2017-12-19T12:28:41Z Comment by Sheme Amazing! I'm raving noooow! Please make more volume from 1:27 the upwards noise effekt - from deep to high effect, I mean. 2017-12-19T07:43:00Z Comment by LaLa This sounds very promising already, has that signature Matt Gray sound, it's a high-quality, smashing mix, but... I am a huge SID fanatic, I like arpeggios a lot, but I think this one has a touch too many of them. Somewhere along the 1:10 mark I think some of them should be replaced with chords. Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it. :) 2017-12-19T03:06:33Z Comment by warkopz Huge Remake! Really fantastic, love it! 2017-12-18T20:56:26Z Comment by Stuart J Wilson Amazing work! Well done Matt, it's fantastic. 2017-12-18T20:10:18Z Comment by Jamie Nuttall Amazing!!!!!! 2017-12-18T17:13:38Z Comment by Milky Joe Love you that you're doing something completely different with this classic track! So many composers play it too safe imho. Awesome! 2017-12-18T15:31:14Z Comment by Jonas Hultén I really like this distorted beginning. I wish it didn't drown in the later part of the song. It makes it stand out from other mixes a lot. 2017-12-18T15:20:56Z Comment by siiron wow!! gave me chills 😊 2017-12-18T14:38:36Z Comment by Paul Hills This is one of my favourite SIDs. And while I know nothing about music production (haven't a note in my head!), it feels like there is a bit to go on this. The leads are a little indistinct and there is prob mixing to be done. The intro is also a bit muddy up until that infamous bassline kicks in. Greatly appreciate the pre-Christmas preview though! 2017-12-18T13:52:03Z
