Energy consumer protection in Albania and Algeria by MEDREG - Mediterranean Energy Regulators published on 2024-02-14T11:32:00Z This podcast discusses about the measures taken by energy regulators to protect consumers and how they communicate with them, in particular in the current context of increased energy prices, with a focus on Albania and Algeria. With the contributions of: • Erjola Sadushi who is Commissioner of the Albanian Energy Regulatory Entity (ERE) and who previously served as Director of Legal and Customer Protection Directory. Erjola is also Vice-Chair of the MEDREG’s Consumer WG. • Karima Sadou who is Director for Consumer Protection and Conciliation at the Algerian Electricity and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG) and Chair of the MEDREG’s Consumer WG. The podcast is the first of a series titled “Energy Voices from the Mediterranean”, which has for objective to highlight our members’ best regulatory practices in challenging and evolving areas.
