Micke Krajewski
Stockholm
Micke was born in Poland in 1976 and moved to Sweden as a 10-year-old kid. Today he lives in Stockholm with his own family.
The interest for mixing started at that time. His cousin was a graffiti painter and a hiphop-DJ, and had turntables at home. Micke listened to a lot of hip and triphop released on labels such as XL Records.
When Micke attended his first rave in 1993, he totally fell for electronic music. At that time, you either had to attend a underground rave or vist the local recordstore, to be able to listen to this music. Micke was a well-known customer at the store, as he bought many of his first records.
Around 1994, as a 18-year-old, he bought a 2-channel mixer and two Technics SL-1210 turntables. He started to learn his mixing techniques at home and soon started to arrange smaller private parties with his friends.
The reputation started to grow and he got gigs both in Sweden and around the globe, in countries as Poland, Hungary, old Jugoslavia, Germany, England and Australia.
The music inspiration comes mainly from the early Acid, Techno, Hardtrance & Goa music from the 90s.
