Nicolò Zilocchi He was born in Fiorenzuola d'Arda , but spent his childhood and adolescence between Pontenure and Piacenza (near Milan in Northern Italy). Already during his childhood he discovered a strong artistic and creative streak that led him to start taking piano lessons from the age of eight and guitar from 12. In 2014, he enrolled in the Faculty of Cinema and Media Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. He is particularly active in the world of composing soundtracks for short films, which combines his passion for cinema with that for music. In his compositions he makes extensive use of synths. Starting from September 2019 he begins to work on his master's thesis project which will engage him until its realization on 25 July 2020. Singing Plants is an immersive performance based on the sonification of bio-feedback from the plant world. The exhibition aims to study a new method of relationship between the human world and the plant world that has music as its carrier. At the end of 2020 he moved to Berlin. Here he begins work on his first album which still does not have a release date, but is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. The first single extracted is Kopernjck which comes out on all streaming platforms on November 6, 2020.
