noel langley Noel Langley London Trumpet player, Noel Langley's debut solo album, Edentide, was released by Suntara Records on the 30th of June 2014. Noel has been at the forefront of the British music scene for nearly thirty years, enjoying a career as a performer, composer, arranger, producer and educator. Renowned for his versatility, he has worked with many of the world’s top symphony orchestras, big bands and recording artists, and has performed in over sixty West End productions. Identified as an exceptional talent by Leonard Bernstein, whilst studying at the Guildhall School of Music, he went on to establish himself as one of this country’s finest lead players, performing with jazz greats such as Sir John Dankworth, Tim Garland, Hermeto Pascoal, Andrew Hill and Harry Connick Junior. He founded the London Jazz Orchestra in 1991 and played lead trumpet on Loose Tubes’ award winning album, ‘Dancing on Frith Street’, released in 2010. Noel is currently a member of the virtuoso ensemble assembled by contemporary classical composer, Graham Fitkin. Recently Noel has been performing and recording with Radiohead, is featured on the record breaking album ‘21’ by Adele and has been directing and arranging music for the Swing Out Sister Big Band, for concerts in London and the Far East.
